FABRIC.
2023-current

These works explore the intersection of architecture and textile, using wood structures reminiscent of trusses and framing systems as both armature and visual language. Layers of chiffon are stretched across both the front and back of the wooden supports, creating a sense of depth and spatial ambiguity. The translucent fabric filters light and shifts in tone depending on the viewer's angle, evoking qualities of screens, veils, and membranes. This interplay of structural solidity and material softness invites a reconsideration of space, surface, and support — blurring the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and architecture.
